What makes Fresh stand apart is that 0Kb of JavaScript is sent to the client.
In other words, a majority of the rendering is performed using Deno on the backend.
Further, fresh provides the ability for client-side rendering of page partials, or islands, using JS.

Next, Mike and Brian discuss whether a new software UI engineer should have the knowledge and the ability to write algorithms.
They break down why you might want to have a basic understanding, and question if this is really necessary.
As strong supporters of internships and mentorships, they discuss how, perhaps, not all engineers need to be able to write algorithms.
